(hereinafter, “Casa Batlló” or the “Data Controller”) for the purpose of complying with the duty of transparency regarding the processing of personal data that it may carry out as data controller, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, concerning the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter, the “GDPR”).

PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

When purchasing a ticket, your data will be processed for the purpose of managing the purchase, and the legal basis that permits the processing is the performance of the contractual relationship.

If you are a customer, we will send you commercial communications in order to inform you about products similar to those you have purchased, unless you tell us that you do not wish to receive them, in which case we will not do so. The legal basis that authorizes us to carry out this processing is Casa Batlló’s legitimate interest in promoting the goods and services it markets, always in compliance with the provisions of Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce. When you give your consent for the processing of your data provided through the installation of data storage and retrieval devices (hereinafter, “Cookies”) for statistical purposes when you access the Website, these will be used to produce aggregated data reports for statistical and analytical purposes by Casa Batlló, as set out in the Cookies Policy. The legal basis for the processing described is consent, which you may withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to its withdrawal, in accordance with the section “Data subject rights” of this privacy policy.

For a similar purpose to the above, we use technologies to learn more about people who make a purchase or visit our website. For this purpose, we collect certain information (such as your name or email address) about your purchase and securely share it with Google (through technologies such as hash encryption) using Google’s “Enhanced Conversions” technology. You can find more information about this technology here. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in carrying out more detailed analytics of purchases on our website. In this regard, Casa Batlló’s interest is to learn more about the users who make a purchase on our site, and this technology is necessary for that purpose. Likewise, the data used are those strictly necessary, since they are the ones entered by the user at purchase and will be secured through a hash function before being sent to Google. To use this feature, Google will use certain information from your Google sign-in, so you can configure the use of your data through your Google account settings (by accessing your profile, under the data and privacy option).

If you visit the premises, located at Passeig de Gràcia no. 43, 4th floor, 08007, Barcelona, your image will be recorded for CCTV purposes to ensure the protection, preservation and security of the premises. To that end, you will be able to see an initial information layer through clearly identifiable signs. The legal basis that permits the processing of the image is the performance of a task carried out in the public interest, insofar as, as a National Historic-Artistic Monument and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Casa Batlló is obliged to protect and preserve its premises.

Likewise, your image may be recorded for the purpose of controlling the capacity of the premises, so that Casa Batlló can manage the large number of visits received each year. The legal basis for this processing is Casa Batlló’s legitimate interest in complying with Royal Decree 112/2010 of 31 August, approving the Public Entertainment and Recreational Activities Regulations, which imposes the obligation to control capacity and properly manage the risks derived from visitor volume. To this end, the interests, freedoms and rights of the individuals concerned have been weighed, with Casa Batlló’s legitimate interest in complying with its obligations and ensuring the safety of its premises prevailing due to the high occupancy that may occur. TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED

The use of some services or features of the Website requires you to provide certain personal data, indicated in the corresponding forms, and entails its processing for the purposes indicated in each case.

If you communicate with Casa Batlló, S.L.U. through this channel, you consent to the data provided being processed for the purpose of handling and resolving all queries raised, and that these will be answered through artificial intelligence systems.

The data will not be transferred to third parties and will be processed for the time necessary to carry out the purpose for which they were collected, and once that purpose has been fulfilled, the data will remain properly blocked.

You may exercise your data protection rights, as well as withdraw your consent at any time, by sending an email to dpd@casabatllo.cat. Likewise, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency if you consider your rights have been infringed.

RETENTION PERIOD OF PERSONAL DATA

Casa Batlló will retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which they were collected, while the consents granted have not been withdrawn, and for as long as the relationship you maintain with Casa Batlló lasts. Regarding images captured at our facilities, they will be retained for a maximum period of one month.

Thereafter, if necessary, Casa Batlló will continue to retain the data, duly blocked, for the handling of any legal liabilities arising from the processing and until the legally established limitation period expires.

RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA

You have the right to request the erasure of your personal data whenever the legal requirements are met, and the rectification of inaccurate data when, among other reasons, they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.

Restriction of processing, withdrawal of consent and total or partial objection to processing:
